1970s evening dresses VINTAGE LATE 1960S EARLY 1970S RED AND WHITE PLAID PLEATED EVENING GOW – Vintage Clothing & FashionsA vintage red and white plaid evening gown with a red satin ruched cummberbund. It is adorned with 17 red plastic buttons with a faux pearl in the center. Long zipper down the back. Originally there was a hook and eye but only the eye is left. Easy fix. A vintage red and white plaid evening gown with a red satin ruched cummberbund. It is adorned with 17 red plastic buttons with a faux pearl in the center. Long zipper down the back. Originally there was a hook and eye but only the eye is left. Easy fix. The dress is lightly pleated and was probably pleated even more when new but the pleats have loosened up and are not tight like they probably were originally. The cleaner might possibly be able to put them back in but it still looks good even if you did not do that.

The hem has been finished by machine with red thread and it has a scalloped lettuce leaf like hem to it.
Vintage pink seams in the off white taffeta lining.

Very cute and unique for a spring or summer event!

By: No tag - possibly custom made by owner as many evening gowns and other clothes were made in those days
Size: No tag so go by the measurements
Approximate Measurements – This means the measurements of the item listed – not of your own figure. You must be a few inches smaller than the measurements shown.
Bust: 34 - 35 but no more
Waist: 27 - 28
Length: 55 - 56
Fabric: No tag but semi-sheer red and off white overskirt with an off white/ivory taffeta lining.
Care: No tag
Condition: Very good with some imperfections -There is a some color loss on the right hand shoulder bodice area which I nearly missed which is barely noticeably because of the plaid print. (the arrows depict the AREA where there is color loss not just the spots) They probably would never be noticed at night when one would be wearing the dress. There are tiny pinhead and double pinhead dots of soiling on a lower (towards the hem and up a few inches) side panel of the lining and some larger but they cannot be seen with the red and white fabric over it. (photo) Possibly will come out with a cleaning but I do not know that for sure but they cannot be seen just the same. Store mark on the inside lining at neck area. (photo). The dress price has been lowered for the imperfections.

Care Instructions

We examine each item carefully and note any imperfections, but unless an item is said to be new, please don't expect it to be perfect & even some new items have small imperfections. I will always state in the description if there are any imperfections & I never do repairs but leave them to others who are better able to do them than me as that is not my expertise.

Please remember that unless specified all items have been used and will show varying signs of use or wear. We always list the obvious imperfections to the best of our abilities. However, some slight imperfections that will not show or affect wearing or using the item may slip by or not be considered worth mentioning.

Vintage nightgowns & peignoirs may be delicate so I do not wash them in the machine. I wash them in lukewarm water with Woolite or some other mild soap, then rinse & hang dripping wet in the shower.

Since these are vintage items, a bit of extra care needs to be taken with them so they remain beautiful & I definitely would never put a vintage nightgown or a peignoir in the dryer as it would ruin it.

The items are sold as we find them. We do not dry clean, launder, alter or repair vintage clothing and they should be cleaned or washed upon arrival. Please make your selection carefully & check the measurements. We hope you enjoy what you purchased but we know sometimes things do not fit quite as you would like or the color is wrong.  In that case, we do allow one exchange or a store credit on any item that you want. There are about 2,000 items in the store and more are being added all the time so you have a large selection to choose from.

You must email before returning an item so I can give you the information that you need to exchange the item.

International customer have 14 days to contact Midnight Glamour about returning an item if they should want to.  International customers may have to pay be additional customs and import taxes and there maybe unforeseen customs delays. The seller is not responsible for these delays nor for the custom charges as that is the international customer's obligation when purchasing an item outside your country.

delightful read
Format: Kindle
What a delightful read. The characters are awesome, the plot was so good, I loved it. I was intrigued and it kept me wanting more. Told in multiple pov, the book sucks you in and doesn’t let go. I cannot wait to read the next book.

not bad
Format: Kindle
I loved the plot of this book. The characters just didn’t have a lot of depth. The connections and “love” just weren’t communicated very well in the writing. The author didn’t write the sweet psycho trope very well at all either. Lachlan was just a mess of a character.

A Beta Worth Rooting For
Format: Kindle
In Spare, Violet Fox flips the omegaverse on its head, giving us a Beta heroine determined to make her mark. Joining the Beta Trials to support her sick father, she's thrown into a pack that doesn't want her, especially the possessive Alphas. But here's the twist: their sweet Omega turns out to be her scent match. Cue the angst, forbidden tension, and a slow-burn romance that will make your heart ache in the best way. Violet Fox delivers an emotional, refreshing take on the genre, proving Betas aren't "spares." They're stars.

Beta, Alpha, Omega oh my!
Format: Kindle
Omegas are precious and given to Alphas & their packs... but the Betas want in too. To this end, the Beta government is rolling out its trial of assigning a Beta to each Alpha-Omega pack. But forcing a Beta into a pack where they are not wanted will not end well... Of course, no one expected the Omega to fall for the assigned Beta. Great read and cliffhanger

A familiar story, just with…..less.
Format: Kindle
So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.
