Don't water Prickly Pear Cacti until they grow roots. It may take 30-60 days. If you water while they are in the soil before roots, they may rot. However, even though the pad may look dead, it may grow a new pad within a year. It does not matter which way they are planted. Nice box but, needs tissue springs.

These boxes are well made and elegant. I like the magnetic closure and the rear-filled design. The only thing is that you'll want to use some tissue dispenser springs underneath once the tissue is half gone so that the popup feed continues working. Putting springs in when fully loaded cannot be done because pulling out a tissue will rip them.
