Marble Queen Pothos Care (Epipremnum Aureum Care)

Light: Marble Queen Pothos plants prefer indirect sunlight, rather fun sun. Direct sunlight will burn your plant because a Marble Queen plant receives less-harsh indirect sunlight. Your pothos will receive enough sun if the room it is in has a window. Pothos plants will grow faster the brighter the room is, so putting your plant near the window, or in a room with multiple windows will benefit it. Moving a Marble Queen from low light to bright light may shock it, so gradually introduce it to brighter light if you plan on changing its light source.

Water: They prefer to dry out between waterings. Press your finger about an inch into the soil and if it is damp, do not water it. If it is dry it is time to water. In the summer you will water twice as much as the winter waterings.

Soil: Well-draining potting mix will let a pothos thrive.

Humidity: The average humidity in a house is great

Marble Queen Pothos Information

Pothos plants, also known as Epipremnum aureum, is a tropical vine native to French Polynesia. Like other related aroids, the leaves of a pothos plant will change in shape with age.

Like any vining plant, a pothos will naturally crawl along the ground, or climb up a moss pole, tree, or anything it can get a leaf on. Considered to be in the monstera subfamily, these plants can grow to incredible sizes! A mature pothos plant can grow to be longer than 3 feet. They have the ability to spontaneously generate variegation, which has led to several variations we know and love, such as – marble, classic jade, and neon.

In colder climates, house plant lovers will grow Marble Pothos in hanging baskets, or as an indoor potted plant with a peat moss pole to climb up and sprawl out. Grow them indoors for air purifying benefits!

Pothos plants are non-ingestible for pets and humans, so please make sure your pets are not nibbling on leaves.

Want to know if you can you grow Marble Queen Pothos in water? The answer is "Yes!" A pothos plant makes a great choice for hydroponic growing or propagating - but you will need to feed it nutrients such as diluted liquid fertilizer.

Exceptional quality!
I have had these dishes for two years and highly recommend them. For the price, it is unbeatable. These have the benefits of significantly higher priced dishes. They are a solid weight, which is an important factor in preventing them from being too hot to touch after microwaving. When filled with freshly brewed coffee, the mugs can be on the verge of being too hot to touch, but there is no issue if holding from the handles. I have a fireclay sink that could cause issues with weaker dishes. The handles on the coffee mugs have proven durable over time. I have never experienced a crack in the mugs, even where the handles meet the mugs. I have dropped dishes over time. These do not splinter or shatter into tiny pieces like comparably priced dishes. These crack into large pieces. I have endured chips and cracks in a bowl and plate. Neither broke apart further, despite hot or cold temperatures from microwave, dishwasher, or ice cream. I have not experienced any staining over time. The dishes clean very well in the dishwasher. The minimalist style, weight, and functionality of these dishes compare to sets that cost significantly more money at luxury brand stores.

Good design and size.
I was surprised at the quality. of this dish set. The cups were well balanced and delightful to use. The bowls are of good shape and just the right size for a bowl of cereal or soup.

Minimalist, imperfect but certainly reasonably good for the price
This is a set of 16 pieces, all of which are usable and practically sized, including the coffee/tea/beverage cups. While this is absolutely not high quality it is more than expected for $30 or so. The dishes are on the heavier side, not very lightweight brittle. I doubt they are break resistant. While they appear bone white, which they are, I'm not sure they are pure white (almost.) Some dishes will feature some small imperfections, like a small dot here and there, nothing too terrible. Stacking them is where you'll notice that the large plates are absolutely not perfect and you'll see that the ends are not perfect by rotating the plates and you'll notice areas they go slightly up and down. Again, nothing really noticeable or terrible unless you stack them. If you've got a dorm room, don't care too much about having anything more than a minimalist set of reasonable quality dishes that you won't get embarrassed about for serving casual meals, this makes for a decent set. Hopefully they are safe (supposedly Amazon says they are) and they are made in China. If you're wondering about branding, on the bottom of each item there is a conspicuous amazon basics logo.

Great starter set
They are very nice. Great starter set. They don’t feel cheap. The only issue I have is that the bowls are small. That is only picture I took.

Nice everyday dishes for the price.
Nice everyday dishes for the price. The plates and bowls are generous sizes. The coffee mugs are a bit small if that is a concern. The dishes are sturdy and should hold up well for everyday use.
